Esperanza – mein erstes eBook

Ich kann es nicht fassen! Nach über 4 Monaten Arbeit und jeder Menge Hindernissen ist es tatsächlich geschafft. Mein allererstes ebook wird am nächsten Samstag, also am 05.08. in meinem Dawanda-Shop online gehen!

It took me 4 months of blood, sweat and tears to finally finish my very first eBook! And I still can’t believe it’s done and will be online in my Dawanda-Shop as of August, 5th! 

Ich habe diesen Maxirock damals eigentlich nur für mich selber gemacht weil ich gern ein Modell haben wollte, dass oben schmal ist und nicht aufträgt aber unten so richtig weit wird.

I actually designed this pattern just for myself a few months back since I was looking for something I couldn’t find anywhere: a pattern that is fitted around the waist but flare and airy at the bottom. 

Außerdem wollte ich mir mit dem Schnitt auch gerne kürzere Röcke nähen können, mit denen ich mich im Sommer wohlfühle. Also habe ich dann mal wieder meine vor Urzeiten erworbenen Konstruktionskenntnisse bemüht und losgekritzelt.

Plus I wanted to be able to make shorter versions of that skirt as well – kind of an all-time-fav for summer that I feel comfy in at all times (even in the heat of a hot summer day when everything tends to stick to anything). 

Und irgendwann während des Tüftelns entstand dann auch die Idee mit dem ebook. Und jetzt nach Monaten des Schreibens, Entwerfens, Korrigierens, Probenähens und nochmal Korrigierens ist es endlich soweit: ich kann Euch Esperanza, mein Maxirock-eBook, vorstellen!

And along the way this eBook idea came to live. And now after circles of creating, correcting, testing, again correcting and designing –  I can finally announce that  it’s going to be released next Saturday, August, 5th!

Das eBook enthält eine detaillierte Anleitung mit Fotos sowie das Schnittmuster in den Größen 34-46 sowohl als A4-Datei zum Selbstausdrucken als auch als A0-Datei zum Plotten.

The eBook includes a detailed manual with many pics and of course the pattern that comes to you in various PDF-files: A4-PDFs for printing at home and also the large A0 files. I’m currently working on the US-letter-format and also on the translation to English. So in case you are interested and don’t speak German – just stay tuned, it’ll be ready soon!

Und: es enthält außerdem zwei weitere Längen – für einen kurzen und einen knielangen Rock-  damit Esperanza Euch in allen Lebenslagen begleiten kann. Außerdem liebe ich ja den Lagenlook und daher zeige ich Euch demnächst hier,  wie Ihr mit Esperanza einen Maxi-Lagenrock nähen könnt.

The eBook also contains a mini and an above-knee-version. And since I’m madly in love with the layering-look (even though it’s probably outdated by the time being..) I’m show you how to sew a maxi-layer-skirt here soon as well!

Was man mit dem Schnitt alles anstellen kann, habe ich vor allem durch mein grandioses Probenäh-Team gelernt, auf das ich unglaublich stolz bin! Die Mädels haben genäht, getüftelt, verbessert und erweitert wie die Verrückten! Wahnsinn, was Ihr in der kurzen Zeit zustande gebracht habt! Und was Ihr alles genäht habt!

Ich möchte Euch hier nochmal von ganzem Herzen für Eure Leidenschaft und Euer Engagement danken!
